Rehousing with rent assistance and case management, BMAC operates an intensive intake and support model of support for homeless, formerly homeless, and/or transitional housing individuals and families. BMAC provides supportive housing/employment services for people who are chronically homeless, present frequent or lengthy institutional contacts, and/or are vulnerable youth and adults with behavioral health needs. BMAC operates transitional housing units with 24/7 case emergency services and close case management with the ultimate goal of permanent placement. Barrel Full of Money is a joint effort by BMAC, the Walla Walla Valley Wine Alliance, and other local business sponsors to raise funds to support local food pantries. Utility assistance through the federally funded LIHEAP (Low-income home energy assistance program), and private funds such as Pacific Power’s LIBA (Low-income bill assistance) and Cascade Natural Gas bill assistance.
