For quick removal, use the Removals toolto remove images hosted on your site from Google’s search results within hours. Now that I’ve covered the various removal tools from Google, I’m going to walk you through removing an image from Google Image Search. If you have an actual image you want removed, then now is a great time to use that image while following along. On that note, I find there’s a lot of confusion about the various tools Google provides for removals, and how to use them. Remember that images in your archive won’t be included in a selection made from the main photos grid. To delete absolutely everything, you’ll also need to check your archive too and move items from there to the bin.

You can now ask Google to remove images of someone under age that includes if you are the minor in the image or the minor’s parent or guardian. Once Google removes the image or images, they won’t appear in the Images tab or as thumbnails in Google search results. Note that this does not remove the image from the internet, just from Google’s search results. Google recommends you work with a website to remove the image itself. Every single snap in your library will now be selected. You can then follow the same steps as above to move the images to the bin, by clicking the bin icon in the top right.

Web URLs are not eligible for removal under this policy, which seeks to limit the presence of images in Google search results. We may remove involuntary fake pornography of you from Google search results, if the image or video meets the requirements below. In the vast majority of cases, these types of images and the content that accompanies them have no public interest value. In limited cases, Google may remove links to the image from Google Search. This doesn’t remove the image from the site it was linked from.

If you need to hide or disable all images in your browser for some reason, Google Chrome lets you do so. If you’re sure that you want to immediately and irreversibly erase the snaps, click ‘Empty bin’. But if you intend to erase some or all of your treasured snaps from Google Photos forever, it’s worth checking that you have a second copy saved somewhere else. Although it’s not a huge amount of money, even small amounts add up over time, so you may wish to delete all your Google Photos rather than paying the monthly subscription fee.
