TRADER JOE’S Chewy Chocolate & Peanut Butter Protein Bars, 5 BARS- 2 B

Our SQF-Certified facility has lines designed to optimize production for runs of all sizes — from 5k bars to 1 million+ bars. Our team of food scientists, chefs and ingredient specialists help our clients turn their innovative ideas into delicious reality. Really, any of Trader Joe’s frozen Asian dinners are AMAZING. I have had almost all of them, and the Kung Pao Chicken is my very favorite. It’s the quickest, simplest dinner and is the closest thing I’ve had to Chinese take-out at home . It is pretty spicy, so if you aren’t into that try the Orange Chicken or Beef & Broccoli.

Both the Hazelnut Nougat and Salty Peanut come in dairy-based bars as well, so just make sure to choose the ones with the plant-based label for a fully vegan option. We strive to only recommend products that adhere to our philosophy of eating better while still enjoying what you eat. Keto Bars have zero grams of added sugar , making them stand out the most as potentially healthy options. Some of the best things to look for when trying to figure out if something is healthy or not is its sugar content and fiber content. Generally speaking, healthy foods are low in sugar and high in fiber .

Personally, I always opt for things without added sugar or artificial sweeteners. No one has better deals on fresh flowers than Trader Joe’s!!! Every other week I pick up a bunch of white hydrangeas for $5.99 for our coffee table and they last me a full two weeks! Whenever I’m hosting an event two protein shakes a day or having company, I grab a few different bunches and arrange them around our house. And at their prices it honestly doesn’t matter that they don’t last too long. There are very few store-bought dressings and sauces that I like, but 9 times out of 10, the ones I purchase are from Trader Joe’s.

While Frooze Balls boast their lack of artificial sweeteners or added sugars, Barebells pack just as much fiber while offering more than twice as much protein. Both are great vegan protein bar options if you’re not worried about consuming artificial sweeteners or natural sugars. Trader Joe’s Think Bars have been around for awhile now at TJs, and considering the massive selection of protein bars and granola bars, I would put these among the better options. How would everyone compare the taste and texture of these Think protein bars to other brands? If anyone has an absolute favorite Trader Joe’s protein bar, let us know! And if you can’t make it out to TJs, give these items a try…..

Thanks to the popularity of high-protein, meat-centric diets, like keto and paleo, jerky seems to be all the rage these days. But this jerky is nothing like the gas station Slim Jims you grew up with! This all-natural buffalo jerky is seasoned to sweet-and-spicy perfection. A bag will set you back $6.99 for 3.5 ounces, but it’s worth paying a little extra for some high-quality jerky. Whether you’re a keto dieter, vegan or just someone who is trying to eat a little better, we can all agree that protein is essential for a happy and healthy body. From the hairs on your head to the nails on your toes, protein holds our bodies together, helps us build muscle, circulate blood and so much more.

They’re pretty pricey and are still about $2 per bar at T-Joe’s, but normal price at any other grocery store is at least $1 more per bar! They are refrigerated, and my favorite flavors are Peanut Butter, Fruit & Nut, and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip. These Trader Joe’s Think Bars are part of the always growing protein bar selection at TJs.

As any protein bar pundit would know, these are very bold claims. The high protein content of these kinds of bars usually gives them a distinct protein-y type of flavor, so the claim that these don’t taste like protein bars is understandably hard to believe. However, other users enthusiastically backed the claim up with comments like “They’re truly insane, they really don’t taste like protein bars at all!” and “Salted peanut is an almost snickers bar. The best.” So, if an entire community of protein bar enthusiasts is promising that one particular brand actually tastes like a candy bar, fellow enthusiasts may want to pay attention.

With the main ingredient being peanut butter, it is no surprise how delicious the Perfect Bar was. The texture was reminiscent of cookie dough, and definitely was a satisfying treat. Perfect Bar markets themself as the “Original Refrigerated Protein Bar.” Although they are refrigerated, they are able to be left out for up to a week. I allowed mine to reach room temperature for optimum taste. Next time you’re shopping for a post-workout snack at TJ’s, keep this list in mind.

Hopefully this article helps in figuring out which brand of protein bar is right for you. In completing this experiment, I can definitely say that I prefer the chocolate and peanut butter flavored bars, and my top choices would be the Perfect Bar or GoMacro Bars. When it comes to protein bars, things aren’t exactly what they seem. Marketed as a health food product, most commercially available protein bars (including the ones available at Trader Joe’s) aren’t actually all that healthy. But the good news is that Trader Joe’s does sell a few options that are on the healthier side, including their Think! One great thing about buying protein bars at Trader Joe’s is that they’re generally less expensive than at other retailers.

I was most eager to try the GoMacro bars after seeing a lot of positive reviews about them on Tiktok. These bars were not too chewy, and I really enjoyed the peanut butter chips and chocolate chips inside. There was a pleasant amount of chocolatey flavor, and it did not taste artificial whatsoever.
