The film comes from a production house that has made quality films like “Jersey” has raised expectations. A lot of factors have helped in generating curiosity. A woman director helming this rom-com is one of the reasons it has created a good buzz. Before the two hit the common ground, the story is punctuated by one too many songs and comic episodes at a wedding. The production design and cinematography are aesthetic but the film gets boring and never recovers. Also, there is not much story in the film and the second half is a proof.

He also looked stylish and handsome but at times looked jaded and dull. Ritu Varma performed well in the role of an authoritarian girl and she also reasoned it out well with powerful dialogue. In the second half, she transforms surprisingly all as a jovial girl but only for a few minutes. Naga Shaurya is handsome and classy as the guy who finds love.

In Varudu Kaavalenu, the hero does not have an ‘introduction’ shot, and neither do they delve into his life or his family’s, while significance is given to the female character. The film stars actors Ritu Varma, Naga Shaurya, Murali Sharma, Nadhiya, Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Harsha Vardhan, Sapthagiri and others. ‘Varudu Kavalenu’ is a very old tale but with interesting characterisations. However, there is nothing much left for the makers to fill the rest of the film. Debutante director Lakshmi Sowjanya’s work is impressive.

It’s an author-backed role for Ritu Varma and she carries her role beautifully with class. Nadhiya is good as a mother who keeps worrying about her daughter’s yellowstone music season 4 marriage. Murali Sharma has few dialogues and whenever he speaks it makes sense. Vennela Kishore is neat and only appears in the first half.
